In the past, I’ve given you some insight about holiday gift ideas the “Indie” Travel Diva in your life, now with just seven days until Christmas, I present seven ideas for the other seven types of Travel Divas who may be in your life.

For the Travel Diva who’s always on the go and likes to keep it packed just right:

Checking in a bag is out of the question—she prefers to travel light and only pack a carrry-on. I suggest the ingeniously designed MINAAL Backpack: With its lie flat packing,  you can pack unpack faster, with easy access to all your gear—from any angle—thanks to its full-length zips.Perhaps best of all? Its dimensions conform to most airline companies’ size regulations for carry on bags—even the dreaded Ryanair. The bag is so popular and there are so many ways to pack it, there are even YouTube videos on how to pack your MINAAL and utilize the space the space the most.
BONUS: To make storing liquids even easier, try Airsafe Carryon kits: each kit comes in a variety of patterns and colors made of a a protective durable nylon washable material and contains a mirror, three large 2oz liquid containers, four small 1oz containers, one spatula and two sheets of label decals so you can pack just right.

For the Travel Diva who likes to keep it so fresh and clean:

There’s nothing worse than coming off an overnight 16+ hour transatlantic flight, feeling icky and knowing you smell. Even worse when there is someone waiting for you when you come strolling lurching out of the gates. Thank goodness for You Smell Paper Soap. Chances are, she’ll get a get a kick out of the cheeky name and appreciate the small, business card size—and the wonders the Lemon Verbena scent does in giving you a “refreshing” feeling with natural glycerin and allantoin, an organic nitrogenous compound, to keep your skin smooth, soft, and irritation-free.
BONUS: Whenever I travel, my skin always feels mega dry, due to the stale air of airplanes and constant air conditioning blowing. Hence, I personally swear by LUSH cosmetics face toner Breath of Fresh Air. With its main ingredients of aloe, seaweed and fresh sea water and the fact that it’s alcohol free, a few spritzes on my face right before I land, it really does feel like a breath of fresh air and is just the pick-me-up I need.

For the Travel Diva who values comfort above all:

SleepPhones. If your Travel Diva is anything like me, chances are, she has a hard time sleeping on the plane and requires listening to music to block out all the white noise on the plane. And there is nothing more annoying than trying to find a comfortable position in which your ear buds don’t smoosh your ears or worse, fall out. The SleepPhones incorporate headphones inside a cozy headband, eliminating said problem and easily hook up to your iPod or MP3 player, giving your Travel Diva a comfortable listening experience. Bonus? You can also slide the SleepPhones over your eyes to block out the glare from your neighbor’s reading light. To me, this is the gift that keeps on giving year round—I’d use it whilst traveling or at home sleeping.
BONUS: Yes, it may be controversial, but why interrupt your blissful sleep with the passenger in front of you practically sitting in your lap when you can get the Knee Defender?

For the techy Travel Diva:

Is there anything more worrisome than waiting at the luggage carousal and watching suitcase after suitcase come out and  wondering when your luggage will be next? What if the airline lost it?! Thanks to Trakdot, you will always know where your luggage is (even if the airline doesn’t). The tiny device texts you with the location of your bag when you land, and its accompanying app can let you know when your suitcase is headed your way around the baggage carousel. One less thing to worry about and gives your Travel Diva that much more time to begin enjoying her (probably much needed) holiday.

For the sentimental Travel Diva who wears her travels on her sleeves:

Spanish jewelry designer Mifabula makes adorable, personalized bracelets in which you can chose the color of the band, the design of the charms—for example with the names of the cities she has visited or outlines of her favorite countries—for a truly unique gift that will remind her of all her favorite travels.

For the Travel Diva who blogs about her travels:

BLOGSHOP. According to their website, “BLOGSHOP is:Photoshop bootcamp. Minus the push-ups. It is a full weekend spent stuffing your brain full of things to make your images on your blog unique and eye catching. We teach the basics from scratch as well as some more advanced techniques and then applying them with your own perspective to layouts that you will use when you go back to your own blog.

People who have no experience with Photoshop will leave the course with confidence to create layout, prep images for mood boards and collages, retouch skin and color correct images, animate gifs, add textures, borders, type and drawing to their images to make each of their blog posts or other visual materials special.”

Traveling Divas have the opportunity to visit the workshop in person, held in different places all over the world, or “attend” the virtual class from the comfort of their very own home.

For the Travel Diva who say, “Travel? Who’s got time for that? The only time I travel is to and from work”:

The Electra Bike “Ticino 8D“. Lightweight, with touring pedals and with a vintage design reminiscent of European bikes from the 40’s and 50’s, this bike is made for city cruising. Although it’s available in a variety of different shades, my favorite is the perfect shade of campo real olive green, or “racing green”—we all know how I feel about the color green. Named after the part of Switzerland where Italian is is the official language, your Traveling Diva will feel like she’s on a Roman Holiday every time she cruises down the streets.

Or for the Travel Diva who prefers “fixie” bikes to get to her destination that much faster, look no further than Spain’s very own Pepita Bikes. And with the aptly titled “Maui” bike, your Travel Diva can practically feel the salty sea air whip her hair about as she rides her bike to her destination.
