The Tango Diva photo contest top 30 finalists
Venice, Italy
by Nicole Scott
Here I am standing in St Mark's Square. It's freezing but as you can see, the pigeons don't head south for winter. I had bought food from the vendor behind me and the birds came over so quick - this photos was snapped right before I screamed and dropped it all! The crowds in Venice in winter were so small I felt like I had the city to myself. Such wonderful food and shopping!
Outside the Bumpy Road Cafe, Costa Rica
by Niki Castello
My cousin and I were ecstatic when we finally found the Bumpy Road cafe because it meant that we were on the right track and we hadn't travelled the last hour of a very bumpy dirt road in vain. Our journey that day was like a treasure hunt where the treasure at the end would be beautiful, remote waterfalls.

A playful me at the entrance of Daming Si (Great Brightness Temple) in Yangzhou, China. This was one of many stops during a tour of Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Zhejiang Provinces in China. This tour will be forever-memorable as we were promised an English-speaking guide...but the tour group failed to deliver. We still enjoyed the crazy trip.
San Francisco -The City By the Bay
by Judi Basolo
What's more fun than a cable car ride on a day when there is no infamous San Fran Fog in site. The 1 hour wait is worth it to travel thru the City, meandering on this ancient mode of transportation,up and over the hills of this magnificent City By the Bay. I thought I was climbing half way to the stars when we hit the Nob Hill intersection of Powell and California - WOW pinch me, am I dreaming? All I needed was some fresh dungenese crab washed down with California Chardonay after this perfect ride.

Devils Marbles, Northern Territory, Australia
by Anne Dijamco
The red rocks and sand, in Australia's red desert, have been withered away by wind, rain and sun so that these huge, marvelous, red rocks can be found balancing on one tiny edge. I decided to stand between two of the "devil's marbles," as they have been called, to show the humbling size of these naturally-made pieces of art.

Taken at the top of the breathtaking Sydney Harbor BridgeClimb in March 2006. It was an accomplishment of a lifetime to get to Sydney as I've worked for the last 7 years to get over a crippling fear of flying and this trip to Australia was the ultimate challenge and the climb to the top of the bridge was my fantasy reward for a job well done!

The Great Wall of China
by Allison Neves
I was visiting Beijing for the 1st time. I had always dreamed of visting the Great Wall of China. My grandmother is from Shanghai so it definitely has special meaning to me. The day before this picture was taken, GW Bush had beaten John Kerry in the run for US president. My thouhgts that day were absolutely on the state of the world and what was to come. I thought the peace symbol to be the most appropriate way to capture my thoughts on that day.
