Tango Diva
Through travel, we gain a clearer vision of what it means to be a positive participant in this ever-shrinking world. Our mission is to equip women with tools that give them the confidence to travel alone. And once they experience the success of flying solo, then they can apply their newfound verve for adventure to their day-to-day lives. We become better people when we learn about the world and ourselves.
Tango Diva gives women their wings through sharing insight, direction, and inspiration so that they can become active, knowledgeable participants in life.

Stephanie
Having taken some, er, private tango lessons in Buenos Aires herself, Stephanie Block is a Tango Diva natural. A local scenestress and member of the mile high club, Stephanie's passport is like first class on a holiday weekend- totally full! Texan by the grace of diva, Stephanie somehow found her way out to California via stints in Narbonne, Bangalore, Negril, Hamburg, New York City, and Tokyo. A nomad by nature, she's amazed that she still calls San Francisco home after 12 years. It's like her mother says, "you know you live in the right place when you're excited to come back to it."
If there were such a thing as a travelologist, well that's just what Stephanie would be. She can toast and gamble in several languages, and when she's not doubling down or bottoms up, she likes to know what's hippest and happening wherever she is.
When she's not juggling events, she occasionally throws her own. She earned her stripes covering San Francisco restaurants and nightlife once upon a time, but of late she has taken her act on the road! She finds the Riviera riveting, China charming, and Quito quaint. Her dream trip would be par velo around the most famous stages of the Tour de France.
What she has brought to Tango Diva is the serenity to accept the currencies she can't change, the courage to change the clothes she can, and the wisdom to go the distance.
She is currently working on a novel, Taking Tokyo, that she hopes will survive the slush pile.
