"I have been reflecting on how almost all of my moments of true happiness and clarity of being have been while dipping into coastal waters: Santa Barbara East Beach as a towheaded child, Ovalau-Fiji on my first truly solo journey, Bondi Beach-Australia with the divine Meegan Adamson, Monaco with 30 brand new Contiki buddies, utterly alone on a vast beach on the north coast of New Zealand, cavorting in Key West with Laura, Cancun with some guy who was just as happy as I was just to be in the waves, Ipanema-Brazil with fireball Bia, Mancora-Peru with winsome Walter, Sanary-France with sultry Sandrine and much more - that I will give some time to float to the top of mind and get back to you.

Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era. Among many other timeframes, I wish I had been born in London in the mid-late 1940’s so I could have been a teenager during the 1960’s. Not only would I have been able to experience Beatlemania firsthand… but I could have been a Mod. Doesn’t…
Road Trip: California to Colorado
It started out innocently, a road trip from San Francisco to a friend’s ranch in Colorado. Our jaunty vacation soon turned into a lesson on the wilds of country life. Day Two: Breath Found
Getting up at 6:00 am for a hike was not going to happen. So, once again I headed over to the dinning room at 8:00 am for a wonderful breakfast. One of the classes I took today was all about breathing—perfect timing. I learned that breathing is way more important than I thought, it’s not…

I’m not sure who is more sharp, the car or George, (yes we are on a first name basis). But, I do want to share with the ENTIRE Tango world that I did meet George a few nights ago. We met, we talked and we held hands. We decided to go to dinner and when it was time to leave our quiet seclusion to challenge the big bad world of papparazi, he calmed my fears that I would be just fine, that there was nothing to worry about. Over dinner we chatted and I learned how he likes to have his pants folded. In return he asked how I liked mine folded. I thought this was good since it meant he was planning on being around for awhile. Over the course of the evening, I had those thoughts of guilt, partly because I’m a married woman but more, this was my best-friend-forever’s boyfriend, althought he doesn’t know that yet, but in our world he still is. How do I keep this from her? I’ve met George Clooney for goodness sake…that’s HUGE! I kept thinking this isn’t right, I already have a husband and I can’t loose my BFF over a boy, even if it is George. And worse yet, I can’t break that unwritten law of girlfriendisms that you just don’t date your friend’s b/f…duh! Well come to pass, I guess these feelings of guilt must have woken me up from my delicious dream of George. I realized that I have the man of my dreams he’s just not necessarily the one IN my dreams everynight.
