you can definetly get into some trouble by staying at the wrong places in NOLA. my suggestion would be to always get a trusted recommendation, one block in the wrong direction and you could get into a lot of trouble. i recently returned from a trip to NOLA. the best part may have been the random thunderstoms which cooled everything down, from roughly 110 degrees to 100

thanks for the tip on the Monteleone - I am helping my parents plan their anniverary. they want to enjoy the glitter of Bourbon Street but also value some peace and quiet. I am going to look into the food event to see if its open to the public, tix, etc…tbx
