Huge news all! Our original dynamo Teresa Williamson is the "2006 Woman of the Year" for the Luekemia & Lymphoma Society! CONGRATULATIONS!!! She did it. All who supported Teres’a campaign - thank you, thank you. Your support is what made the difference in this very competitive and worthwhile campaign!

My favorite party of the year is almost here- June 29th is SF Mag’s Best of the Bay Area party! Last year, my favorite nibble of all the dozens of restaurants serving tastes was Red Bull sorbet and vodka! The year before that, I won a live auction bid for a girls’ getaway trip to L.A. including a VIP tour of Universal Studios and a live taping of a sitcom! Plus 3 nights at the gorgeous Hotel Bel Air. Sure their kitchen burned to the ground while we were there, and of course Joey Pants from the Sopranos gave me driving directions to get to a club, but those are stories for a different time… I hope you don’t miss this amazing event, and I hope to see you there!

Scott Howard is the newest restaurant to call San Francisco home, and they have generously offered to introduce some of their delicious cuisine to Tango Diva members in hopes of raising money for cancer research.

I wish I had a photo of the day we spent in Liechtenstein sitting on a fence. Linda, Gillian and I were resting our bums on a rickety fence while gazing at the castle up on the hill. Suddenly that poor old fence gave way and we all came crashing down. Oh what I would give for a photo of that moment! We laughed all the way to Austria.

Liechtenstein is quite small (62 square miles) and the one fact that has stuck with me thru the years is that they are number 1 in the world in producing postage stamps. Last Tuesday the HSH Prince Alois of Liechtenstein spoke at the World Affairs Council of Northern California. It was a sold out event. The Prince is the world’s 5th wealthiest head-of-state, with an estimated wealth of 4 billion dollars! He’s still single gals. Check out the castle!
