Gore presents so much information, so clearly, that you really understand what the problem is... and HOW we can solve it, right now, using existing technology and knowledge! If we used the conservation resources that ARE available to us NOW we could cut cabon emissions back to what they were in the 1970's!! I remember what the glaciers were like in Southcentral Alaska in the 70's... they were beautiful. Now they are far away, smaller, and retreating still. We can solve this!! See this movie!! Al Gore is actually REALLY funny in parts too, there's even an animated bit by the Simpson's creator Matt Groening. It's a good film on many levels. Go out and watch it!! I saw the movie too and was totally blown away. I hope everyone goes to see it. The movie is not a lot of bleeding heart mumbo jumbo, but cold, hard scientific facts. It's not an emotional plea, but an argument for the mind that BECOMES emotional when you consider the facts. I, too, was in tears for what could have been these past long, incomprehensible years. Al Gore would have been an amazing President! Imagine our world today with a man like that at the helm. It makes me want to give money to time machine experts!
