OK, not sure if I'm allowed to comment in ladies lounge, but I thought it would be interesting to note that I got a call from American Airlines Executive Desk the other day. Now, I don't know if it had anything to do with this blog entry and the fact that I'm Executive Platinum. But, I've been traveling almost exclusively with AA for the past 5 years and they have never called me to ask if I had any complaints about the airlines. They also wanted to know if I had any advice on improving the airline. I found the whole conversation laughable and a waste of time. I mean, if I told them that the Super 80 sucked, what are they going to do about it? If i told them that the flight attendants shouldn't be older than my mother, what are they going to do about it? (Male or Female mind you)
"Traveling is soo glamorous. Its just getting there that's so depressing." -me

Ah, love the ending..."especially the ones who think we're not looking or blogging!" HA! Be sure to send a link of your blog to the airlines, with a note that more than 50,000 divas read this site for recommendations... perhaps that will get them thinking!

ALL the airlines have way too many cranky 'stews' who are stewing down the aisles. I think they take Nasty Tablets in their creme of wheat before take off - or their denture creme is wearing off! I say retire and rehire.

[...] As you may know, I travel quite a bit. Luckily, since I moved to NY the trips have been fewer and father between. I’ve met some interesting folks along the way. Mostly, I meet no one. Maybe its because I won’t speak to anyone with a bluetooth headset and blackberry running at the same time. Or maybe its because I don’t want to hear about my neighbors interest deprivied, two car garage existance in the burbs. Anyways, returning from SFO after the holidays I actually met someone quite interesting. She decided to write a blog entry about it: here [...]
